rev:text	STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. I am new to Vegas so I decided I'd try out the salon close to my house, which happened to be Ruby Nails. I walked in and it was completely empty (should have been my first red flag but I figured why not). So I explain to the women at the desk that I had S&S on my nails and she tells me they don't do that so I said that's fine I'll do gel nails. She says okay $25 and you pay now. So I paid and we sit down. She touches my nails and then says we don't have this color. I was confused because we had just had the conversation that I wanted to get the gel nails. She then says I have to get a fill in. And I was like what? Why would I do that? I explain to her that I want the s&s powder removed which only requires to be soaked, she says $10 more. And I'm like you knew before I paid that it needed to be removed. She clearly didn't know what she was talking about or doing. She proceeds to take them off in the most painful way basically ripping it off, causing layers of my nail to be broken off making my nails extremely thin and fragile. She sees that it is extremely painful and just smiles at me. I pick a color and then we sends me to another chair with another tech (which I've never experienced before either). He starts applying the gel polish which by the way looked nothing like the color on the display. But it was close and I didn't mind but it wasn't the same at all. Fast forward 2 days later I happen to look at my nails and notice a crack and chipped polish. I was like that's odd this shouldn't be happening at least not this soon. But as I just moved I was unable to come back immediately because I'm trying to get things in order. So another day goes by and another crack appears and my nail is broken. So then I decide to come in on my off day (weekend) and I politely explain to them the issue. She says okay I'll fix it for you then she says $5 per nail. Umm no I already paid you once and you didn't do it right why would I pay again and PER NAIL at that. I ask for my money back and no where does it say that they do not give refunds. Another women walks in and waits behind me. At this point I'm telling the women I would really just like my money back so that I can go somewhere else. And she says owner not here she's in California I can't give money back. And I ask when will the owner be back so that I can come she then motions to the women behind me and ask her what she wants as if I'm not still standing here. At this point I am pissed you're not going to disrespect me so I ask her again and she rolls her eyes at me and starts speaking to her coworkers in their native tongue clearly about me. She then guides the women behind me to a chair and walks away as if I didn't exists. At this point I'm heated and didn't want to cause a scene so as I walk towards the door so says something else to me and her and her coworkers begin to laugh. I always see reviews like this online (yelp Facebook etc) but I never thought I'd be on to make it. I was highly disappointed with the quality of work and disgusted by the customer service. I have never been disrespected like that but now I understand why it was so empty when I arrived both days. Terrible terrible terrible. Do not waste your time or money here. Never again. They should be ashamed of themselves. I didn't get her name but all interactions were with the women who doesn't have eyebrows. I should have known better.
