  • What an amazing foody paradise. While others are hustling off to big expensive, overly priced restaurants, we filled our bellies with extremely inexpensive but phenomenal BBQ. Tonight I had the Pulled Pork platter, with Mexican corn on the Cobb and baked Mac & Cheese. I think I about wet my pants it was so good! Everything from the sauces, the heat profiles, the cold soda, the Texas toast and even the pickles. All done to perfection. Oh and they have the cleanest tropical fish tank I've ever seen! LOL I almost feel bad recommending this place, because I don't want others to discover this little gem, but alas, i must share. If you haven't tried The Thumb you're missing out. My first learned about it from watching diners drive-ins and dives on food TV. Had no idea a little gas station in Scottsdale held the key to my happiness.
