I never do a review on here but had too. Please don't mistake this place for Rudy's next door. I sent my co-workers to pick-up lunch and they accidently went to this bbq joint instead. The turykey sandwhich was very dry store bought bread and all. I gave them $8 which across the street would have filled me up w/ a sandwhich and side for green chili. The register lady didn't even tell them they were at the wrong place when asking for creamed corn, she said they didn't have it today(they never have it). The pork was dry and tasteless. The soda was flat. The beans were chalky and dry. The bbq sauce taste store bought or a dipping sauce from fastfood place. I really tried to like somehting from this place but even the soda was flat my co-worker said. They told the lady it was their first time( since it was) and she said um ok. Next door they would have given you a platter of samples. Free what's that? At least if you are going to charge 8$ for a few pieces of meat on dry bread through in some veggies or something. Never in my life...I cannot understand why this place is still open other than it is family owned so people are supporting them out of the kindness of their heart. Definently do not quit your day job and eat next door then take notes. Your food has more flavor just not the heart and soul of a "Real" family owned and operated bbq restuarant. #icouldmakethisathome
