 | - These people are untrained or not smart. They leave the sensor on the merchandise, and then when you are 30 minutes away and call them to complain, the best suggestion they can offer is for you to turn around and ACTUALLY COME BACK to their extremely inconvenient locations to have the sensor taken off! Who does this? What is the point of putting a sensor on your merchandise if your employees don't take it off, but also if it doesn't even make the alarms go off?! Furthermore, why are you putting useless sensors on "protective" football pants, which, if worn with the sensor that you don't remove, could actually cause an injury?! Here's an idea, Dick's, why don't you train your employees to take the sensors off the merchandise at the time of purchase so that customers don't have to be inconvenienced by driving to your store twice in one day, OR provide your customers with a device to take the sensor off themselves, since your employees don't, and it serves no purpose anyway. Another idea would be to fix your equipment so that the sensor actually causes an audible alarm which would signal your employees and customers that a sensor needs to still be removed from the merchandise. I've got 8 kids who play sports, but I'll be avoiding Dick's and ordering online from now on, I don't have the time-luxury to drive across town four times in one day for no reason.
