From the outside, this diner appears fairly pedestrian, but go inside and you're greeted with hip decor, retro tunes and a menu that celebrates American "cuisine." The counter/stool only dining makes groups of more than two a little awkward, but it's a great place to grab a bite. Most of the food is pretty rich, with a lot of fried foods (honestly, you'll come out smelling like you're the one who was deep fried) but it all seems delicious. I stuck with the basic BLT which was perfectly true to tradition, with large portions of bacon, just enough lettuce and tomato served on a texas toast. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and other entrees, especially the poached eggs looked delicious. I'll be headed back for a second helping soon.
