Please read this entire review and don't just look at the two-star rating. I wish there were different categories and I didn't have to rate this company just once. They were great in many ways: extremely courteous, honest, informative, and, most important, they did a great job fixing my car. HOWEVER, they have a real problem with communication and organization. Every step of the way I had to contact them to ask about progress on my car. I felt that if I had not initiated communication, then no one would have contacted me, and it was my phone calls that prompted any further action and progress each step of the way. I finally was told my car was ready so I rushed down to the shop (I live a distance away) only to be told that the wrong car had been fixed (another grey compact). They accepted responsibility and told me they would repair my car right away and call me when it was ready later that day. This was Friday morning. I still had not heard from them by 3:45 in the afternoon and I was worried that the shop closed at 5:30 and wouldn't reopen until Monday. So (once again) I called only to be told that yes! the car was ready. Everyone apologized and Patrick tried to make amends by offering me a $25 movie gift certificate and Starbucks card. I appreciate the gesture, but what recourse do I have? Getting angry would not help. I hope I never need a collision repair shop again. The only thing I could do is write this honest review to warn others: Southwest Collision does a great job, but if you use them BEWARE and PROACTIVE!! You need to keep at them since they do not seem to have their act together.
