Well, this is my favorite neighborhood sushi joint. First I should warn you old folk about it. The place is pretty loud and they have club music bumping. I like it and wouldn't want them to change.
Food is really good too. The best are the crispy rice with spicy tuna. My wife and I agree that it would be our final meal if on death row. They have a bunch of crazy rolls with names they use for shock value. I eat the nigiri and their sashimi salad is really good too. If you have non sushi eaters, the need to order the chicken karage. It is a fried chicken dish, but they marinade the chicken bites before battering and frying them. They are very good! I usually order the "Hibachi Sauce" with them since that is what the waiter called it one night. Half of the time they bring the wrong one so I don't know what it is called I guess.
This is where I found Hamachi Kama (Yellowtail Collar) with ponzu. They had salmon kama on sale one night and a guy next to us got it. I asked what it was and ordered one since they were like $3 that night. It was soooo good. The next time I tried ordering it again and they told me to try the yellowtail one. The yellowtail one kills the salmon one.
Service is really good there. The staff are prompt, and you never have to look for someone to help you. I usually don't experience good service at sushi restaurants and this one is the best by far.
