| - A solid place to stay. It's not glamorous, but it's a perfect downtown hotel for sleeping in. What else do you really do in a hotel? The rooms are spacious enough for a family of four. The furniture and decor in the rooms has been recently redone. It's clean. The staff is nice, bilingual, and overall very helpful. The elevators are a bit slow, and the hallways look like they were sort of forgotten in the renovation, but I chose to, well....hang out in our room when we were in town and not in the elevators or the hallways!
Breakfast was included, and it was perfect for getting the system going again after a night of drinking Molson Canadian. But, it's nothing more than that. Save some room for brunch at one of the millions of good places to eat anywhere in Montreal.
Pricing was excellent, they offered a AAA rate, and our room was about $110/night. Good price for a downtown hotel room.
There is parking next door, which is usually $20 per day, but it's $25 day per day when there is an "event." Meaning, anytime something in Montreal is happening, it's $25. Yes, it's expensive to park, but it's convenient. It's cheaper than parking in NYC or other big cities.
