  • I've seen a lot of the cirque shows here in town, and even though this is still in preview, after seeing it on Saturday evening, I find I can't recommend this show to anyone, even to see only once for the experience. It's disjointed and can't decide if it's going to be a cirque show (ala an "experience") or a magic show featuring some of Criss' tricks from his TV show. In the end, it's an amalgamation of tricks and set pieces that don't add up to a complete experience and don't leave you pumped up, as the creators obviously expect by the end's rockin' "Mindfreak" song stage performance. Most people that were around us were up and out of the theater as fast as possible, even before the song was over.
