We came here during the happy hour not knowing it was happy hour. It was a packed house, even the bar and high top seats were all full.
We waited around for a few minutes and a table near the bar left so it worked out perfectly.
The waitress brought us over some menu's. The happy hour menu seemed pretty good and had a wide variety but I was there for steak so we didn't get main course off the HH menu, just drinks and salad.
The waitress said the burgers and steaks are all cooked on wood fired grill/plank whatever it's called. I ordered a medium rare filet mignon with lobster tail.
The wood fired grill is the real deal! The meat tasted like a campfire.. oddly described but I mean it in the best way possible! Every bite had the wood scent/taste/aroma. It was a little bit overcooked; more of a medium with bright pink center but I wanted medium rare so just warm in the center but it's all good. It still was pretty delicious. It was Prime meat, super tender! The 8oz lobster tail was grilled on wood also; a side of melted butter and wedge of lemon came with it.
Caeser salad is pretty typical, it has 2 strips of anchovies on top.
Spinach side was phenomenal. It was lightly seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, etc. It wasn't over cooked, there were actually some uncooked spinach mixed in the bowl that will cook when you mix it. Enough to share for 2.
Sadly no room for dessert, as per usual, but the selections seemed pretty good!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I'll definitely come back.
