this is review for swd at the peoria location. the one at bell and grand blows. they dont really get a star. the lady hit my mouth peice 2 to 3 times with x ray machine and we all now how much that plastic insert hurts as is when biting down. she also got frustrated at me and sharply told me to just bite down. she was insuch a rush. the main doc there didn't really want to hang around and even really want to explain what was wrong with my tooth. the bill lady came in after that and tried selling me on a root canal which i didnt want. i asked to be referred to the peoria location and totransfer my files and x ray over.
this is where the night and day experience begins. the assistant named mark was curtious and engaged conversation and cared about my comfort. they had dr. edwards(the surgeon there) examin my tooth and said immediately that it was to be cut out and removed because root canal wouldn't fix the problem. they set me up and did the procedure in about 20 mins. the worst part of the extraction was just the needle that got pushed into the roof of my mouth to numb it. after that..it was really a breeze. whats funnier is that the surprise location also dropped the ball on transferring my files over to this office as well. dr edwards is a great oral surgeon. i recommend the peoria location for your dental work. they understood my fear of dentist when i told them about two yrs ago when the surprise location tried to actually manually extract my wisdom tooth and broke it down to a nub. they ruined the molor next to it and to top it off , it took an hour of hammering my face trying to pull it. on top of that, i had to wait the entire weekend and go back on a monday to have it surgecally removed. because of the traumatic event, i got really sick and developed a dry socket. so you can see where my fear came from for going back.
summary....bell and grand location...........................BAD
GREENWAY AND 75TH AVE.................GOOD
