  • I've tried and tried but I just don't know when I am going to learn my lesson to just stay away from chain seafood restaurants. Bubba Gumps is great for Forrest Gump memorabilia but not so great for the food. The portions are small and very overpriced. I have been to numerous Bubba Gumps and they are all the same. No happy hour specials, no food specials, just an overall average dining experience. I would not recommend Bubba Gumps if you are looking for good seafood, I would recommend it if you are looking to purchase Forrest Gump memorabilia. I really really wanted to like this place which is why I have given it so many chances. But afyer going back 3 or 4 times it is safe to say three stars is being nice! My recommendation is to find a real seafood place by the actual sea!
