Ants in my pants...
I visited Azteca Bridal this weekend in hopes of finding my wedding dress. I had concerns about going there because it looks a little sketchy from the outside but I had heard you could find very good deals there.
First, the store opened a little late but I was quickly ushered upstairs. I was given a quick tour of the store with another bride and was quickly abandoned. My group and I found some dressed to try on and our "consultant" showed us to our fitting room. My maid of honor started helping me try on dresses and our consultant was no where to be found. As many of you know, wedding dresses are very confusing to put on and definitely require expertise to put on correctly. My bridesmaid was forced to help me with the clips and try to figure it out ourselves. After we had tried on the dresses we picked out we waited around for our consultant to come back (she had said during the tour that she would bring 2-3 more dresses for me to try on).
That's when things got worse. I saw one of my bridesmaids slap her arm. I asked if it was a mosquito or something. "No," she said, "its an ant and its the third one I've found on me." If the poor selection and awful service wasn't enough, that definitely made me not want to buy a dress there. When our "consultant" finally reappeared (with no more dress choices) to give us the dress prices and try to pressure me into making a decision, we hightailed it out of there.
To make matters worse, this store had the worst prices out of the two other (amazing) stores we visited (Kaira's Bridal and Almond Tree Boutique). While Azteca had the largest selection, it just isn't worth it.
