You could say KoMex Fusion is similar to Kogi BBQ Truck in Los Angeles (founded by Roy Choi), but KoMex Fusion offers more than just Korean fusion tacos & burritos. You'll also find kimchi fried rice, musubi, wonton soup, enchitada, traditional Mexican burritos & tacos, etc.
The restaurant is hidden in a strip mall (approximately 15~20 minutes drive from the Strip) & there's another KoMex Fusion location (intersection of Buffalo & Flamingo), but I intentionally drove here because I wanted to visit the original location.

Complimentary chips: Good guacamole with some diced tomato. Salsa tasted slightly spicy and chips were freshly made (crunchy with a soft texture).
Calamari Taco (flour tortilla with lettuce, pico de gallo, fusion tartar sauces - $3): Pretty good calamari and solid tortilla chip. Salsa was decent, but it could be better. You probably need tot add your own hot sauce to improve the overall flavors.
Beef Kimchi Fried Rice (fried egg on top, 1/2 serving for $8): Good seasoning and I like this dish.
Pork Belly Musubi (marinated rice wrapped in nori aka dried seaweed, 2 pieces for $6): Average pork belly + rice + seaweed = wait did I really pay $6 for this order?

Good cheap eat in Vegas (in fact my dinner on that night was my leftover from KoMex) and my recommendation is to get kimchi fried rice (good portion) & avoid any musubi (not worth what you are paying for).
P.S. - You'll get a fortune cookie at the end of your meal!
P.P.S. - 5% off the bill if you pay with cash!
