rev:text	Just took my wife to Portofino for her birthday last night, before seeing the LOVE show. The restaurant was not very crowded, which was a welcome relief from the crowds on the casino floor. The decor and ambiance were very elegant. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was amazing. Just tasting the bread, I knew that we were in for a real treat. We started with the caprese salad, my wife had the linguini with clams and I had the chicken parmesan. Chicken parmesan is my favorite Italian dish, and I've ordered it at several restaurants. But this dish was 10x better than any I've had before. And the portion size was surprisingly large, but I had no problem finishing it. My wife absolutely loved her meal, as well. This was a very nice change of pace for us. We probably would have eaten at a typical Vegas buffet, but I wanted to take my wife someplace special for her birthday. And Portofino filled the bill on all counts. We definitely hope to return.
