| - I bought a car with a "rebuilt" carburetor fresh from Summit. The seller said he was never able to get it to run correctly and neither was I. He paid about $425 for what's essentially a paperweight and neither Summit nor Uremco, their vendor, was helpful to me or the seller in remedying this problem.
Compare and contrast this with CJ Pony Parts who, outside warranty, decided my experience with a very, very minor problem warranted an apology, a full refund, AND the gift of the part that was only slightly blemished through light use yet still serviceable.
Sometimes being the lowest-cost vendor means you cut too many corners. In the case of Summit, that means they hire "customer service" reps who know nothing of either cars nor customer service. A real two-fer.
Worse, you have the temerity to write a review on the Summit website, they censor anything that isn't a glowing review, even if their item and their service blows like Hurricane Harvey.
I'm pretty well done with these people. Let them make their money elsewhere while I support firms who put their customers first.
