| - I went to this dealership because I wanted to buy a Kia Soul. Online, the ad stated that the MSRP was 15,810.00. The ad said there was a dealer discount of 3000.00 so the price would be 12,810.00. In addition, there was a "If you qualify" price of 11,810.00..
I went into the dealership expecting at least the price of 12,810.00. Once I got there, I found that they only give you the sale price if you qualify for multiple rebates.. For example, you have to be a recent college graduate and a military vet in order to qualify for the discount. I feel the ad was misleading because it says you get a dealer discount. There was no "*" next to the price so i felt the price was pretty straight forward.
Before going into the dealership, I spoke with a salesman named Travis. I told him my concerns regarding the price. He said that the dealership will meet the price advertised online and he would meet me at 9 in the morning. When I came to the dealership, Travis was not there and I worked with a salesman named John Vance.
I told John my expectations on price and he said that is acceptable. However, 5 hours later, I found myself haggling on the price, the conditions, and left feeling overall disappointed.
The ads are extremely deceptive and frustrating. Knowing then - what I know now, I would not have wasted my time. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on my experience.
