Charlotte airport may have some of the best customer service with regards to ticket agents and bathroom attendants, but the TSA agents make it close to the worst.
I travel out of the airport at least 4 times a month and the security lines can be over an hour wait. On average, 30 minutes. And while you're waiting, TSA agents stand around chatting. I count 12-13 agents at each checkpoint usually and only two lanes open. 4-5 of them looking at the same screen. This is not uncommon!
I've asked questions, written letters, and have verbally shared my concerns. Not once, have I had a reasonable answer to the hold up. Does our government only hire idiots?
If you travel thru Charlotte, take some deep breaths before entering.
