I'll be candid, I go very specifically for Anya, who is the Cat's pajamas. But I'll pretend like I don't. What can you expect? The joint is clean. They don't have boxes laying around all over the place like some bike shops. Everyone is nice. Everyone. I've worked in bike shops in the past, and there is none of the attitutde, grouchiness and superiority of other shops. None. They are friendly, but not over-bearing. No one is going to hustle you around the shop trying to make a sale.
Prices are totally fair. They are interested in getting you back on the bike, instead of itemized charging you for every wrench-turn. (They could teach our health care system a thing or two.)
This place is a little out of the way for me, and parking can be challenging. I don't care. When I have bike issues I specifically go here.
Also, yes, no tip jar for the mechanics, which I think they deserve. But they seem to be okay with you sliding them a six-pack. ;)
