So I have been putting off this review for months because I hate thinking about it but here goes:
I got there early, because they have a policy that if you're a minute late checking in you have to reschedule. I then had to wait over two hours to see my doctor. I understand that sometimes schedules get overbooked but two hours is pretty weird for a doctor's office. Additionally, the AC was blasting hot air - in AZ in the summer - and the office assistants were yelling to each other through the office and I overheard them say with surprise that I was still waiting and then laugh. So I go up and ask if the doctor is gonna be ready soon or if I'm gonna need to reschedule and they tell me that it's gonna be 5-10 minutes because they're just cleaning the room. I wait another 45 minutes before my name gets called. The nurse is kind of sullen and is clearly indifferent to taking accurate vitals and she is short with me asking about my current medications. The doctor finally comes in and basically tells me that the tests tell her something is very wrong and they're referring me to two other doctors who can actually figure out what's wrong. I get home and cry, because I'm scared and stressed out. After reviewing the information, I learn that my doctor is actually a physician assistant which is why she referred me to actual doctors to really figure out what's going on.
I was motivated to write this review because I had taken my brother to this medical office and while we were there they told him the procedures were covered by our insurance and there would be no additional co-pay. Now, three months later, we get a bill in the mail for over $200.
So basically, they're slow, rude, and will lie to you about the cost of services-- although maybe they just didn't bother to check our health insurance coverage beforehand and didn't think it was important to let us know that they had misspoken.
