| - My review is quite old, but one I need to add. 3 or so years ago my husband was in Vegas on business and I was flying out there to spend a few days with him. He was SO excited to tell me that he got us Jersey Boys tickets. His excitement was too much to tell him that I was not in the least bit interested; nor was I fully aware of who the Jersey Boys actually were, so I went and acted like I was excited to be there.
As a few others have said, it takes a little bit to get going, but once it does you don't want it to stop. The music starts and you just start thinking that you did not know they were responsible for this song or that song. Very cool to see the music go through the generations. I am a 70's baby, so after the original, but there for the remakes.
I loved this show so much that I have seen it twice more in other locations, but Vegas being my favorite. What this show actually did was ignite my love for Broadway. Even if you don't think you will enjoy it, try it out and you can't lose with this being the first one you it out on!!!
Just a FYI--They do say "fuck" a few times, so it that bothers you or you care if your kids hear the word, you may want to be aware of that. It is literally like 3-4 times, so not too bad.
