  • We just recently stayed at the Artisan with our puppy Luke as it offered a great deal for a pet friendly Thursday nite and we were extremely pleased with the rate. It's off the strip but as we drove to Vegas to really partake in the local restaurants we weren't concerned at all with proximity to the strip. Japanese food in Vegas is much more appealing than the slots! The hotel staff gave us a nice quiet room on the top floor and away from the noise of the after hours bar so we had a super easy nite relaxing and puppy easily slept thru the night. If I were to comment or pre-warn visitors the hotel does overwhelmingly perfume-ize the whole floor and room so for those with sensitivities to deep musky aromas beware. We actually travel with fabreeze in tow all the time, due to puppy mostly and it served us well as I'm not a real fan of perfumes. The decor is obviously the unique factor that presents a mood like no other and I wasn't really that bothered by the darkness as really isn't that a factor in a good nights sleep. But all in all Artisan does a great job in giving us a super comfy bed and a pooch friendly destination that we're happy and looking forward to returning to again! Actually probably going to do so next mont! And probably will take in a Cirque show for the holidays!
