| - When I first called the pet hospital is was because I was thinking it was near my home, but it wasn't but none the less I was already on my way.
When I arrived there were about 4 people in the waiting room, I did my check in and sat down. They are disorganized in front since 2 others came in after me and a different girl came out front to check them in and put their files on top of mine, so I SAT AND SAT.. and when the other 2 got to go before me I finally had to say something!
I got into the room and continued to wait forever, they said they had an pet emergency and that is why it took so long, I didn't realize it took EVERY doctor in the whole place to handle it.
In any case, the doctor was very nice, we talked a bit about the 2 issues that could or could not be the problem with my cat either allergies or stress. Since I had her to a allergist before, it could be them acting up again. Or stress. He says he thinks it is stress probably, and he will give me meds.. UMMM but this "new" on the market meds she will have to take for an upwards of 6 months before you will see a change. and YES at $$$ cost per bottle. As well as some antibiotics (more $$$). So he goes to take some blood, and I am left waiting and waiting and waiting.
NOW I assume he is taking the blood to check for allergies, I mean does blood work show these days if a cat is stressed!!!! not last time I checked!
So finally out the door well over 160.00 later!!! (only was 40.00 less b/c in my boredom waiting I happen to find a "new customer" visit coupon taking 40.00 off your 1st visit)
I can't get my cat to swallow the large amount of antibiotics liquid they want me to give her and NOR can I get her to take this giant pill. A few cat fights every day & I am giving them to her. But no change in her scratching! Oh but that's right....I need to spend $$$$$$ over the next 6 months if I want that to stop. JUST RIDICULOUS!!!!!
SO I call them to find out the results because it had been some time since the visit. He says "nothing in the blood work that seems off" I tell him she is still scratching, etc. He says "well you can bring her back and well can take some more blood work to check to see what she is allergic too" WTF??? WAIT...WHAT!! What was that blood work you just took for!!! WHY did you NOT check for whatever allergies with the blood you took!! I am confused!!!
So I am suppose to bring her back, for another 100+ (more blood work) and 40.00 for an office visit so you can do the EXACT damn thing you were suppose to do with my first VISIT!!!!!
It was a super high tech nice office, they have all these online customer service areas on their site where you can access your stuff. It all looks lovely & fancy, it makes you think they SHOULD know what they are doing but NOT SO MUCH!!!
I am upset that I had to spend money on USELESS meds and waited for a SUPER long time just to figure it all out on my own!!! I am now giving her an allergy pill from Walgreens!
WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT this pet hospital is!!!
PASS PASS!!!!
CAN WE SAY RIP OFF!!!! It is clear you are SUPER OVER CHARGED so they can pay off all the high tech equipment.
PASS PASS PASS AGAIN!!!
