| - This is one of those cute kitchen and cook book places that I love to wander into overtime I'm in the area. Their Le Creuset pans are actually very competitively priced, even when department store claim to be having a mega 30-40% off sale , department stores jack up the SRP, while Good Egg doesn't, they go by the Le Creuset guide book, and then they give you 20% off. If they don't have it, they order it for you and call you when it comes in. I did that last Christmas when I was looking for a new pot for my Mother In law. SHE STILL LOVES IT so it was definitely worth every penny, and I know from shopping around that Good Egg has the best deal.
They also carry Falcon enamelware from the UK. We originally bought a baking dish set for $90 which I still absolutely love, and I was looking for a tea kettle $50 that I could put on the stove top (so I can get away from heating anything with plastic in it), and their 1 litre tea kettle did just that....and it doesn't whistle (which I love about it). They got another order of Falcon before the Brexit british pound crash and things were a bit more expensive.....our $90 set is now $135. I originally wanted the prep set but it's too expensive to justify now, I also wanted pie plates, but wow....$26 for a pie plate is a tad steep for me. Maybe when the this stock clears they order it again with the Brexit discount? :-P
There are tons of whimsical and gorgeous cookbooks to pursue, lots of environment friendly storage and lunch boxes (Onyx Containers and ice making trays), and Wick glass jars of ALL sizes. They also have lots of alternative overseas brands that are not that common in Toronto....and but look so amazing and food Instagram worthy.
