My husband and I had been looking at the Volvo XC90 since April. The first dealership we went to, I had to laugh when they gave me the price sheet and asked me to sign on the dotted line to begin the process to take my new (2017) car home. The second dealership was a little more reasonable but played the game of sure we can get you that price and tried to sell us the T5 which is only a 2 row SUV. The whole reason for us purchasing the XC90 was for the T6 with 3 seating rows. They apologized and kept doing the dotted line switcharoo for hours before they finally got to their "lowest and best price." I told them Courtesy Volvo had recently opened and their prices online were lower than their number. They claimed "that is just to get you in the door."
Well, luckily Ed Himes and Jeremy were working late that night at Courtesy Volvo and were able to confirm they could beat the other dealerships price if we could come down the next morning. We arrived bright and early and Ed said "pick a car." They had EVERY color in the 2018 models to choose from! I had only seen this car in white or black at the other two dealerships.
In under an hour, I had test driven my vehicle, and settled on a more than fair price. We had our 3-year-old with us and the entire process was so smooth. We weren't even there long enough for our kiddo to lose her patience and/or attention span! Tony in finance was able to beat the pre-approval from our bank by an entire percentage point too.
The review continues... The entire service and parts staff is amazing and personable. I brought my vehicle in a few days later to have an adjustment made and Armand and Jud had me back on the road in 20 minutes. I ordered the Volvo child seat while I was there from Bucky and he had it available the very next morning!
I have my dream car and I can't imagine ever going to another dealership besides Courtesy Volvo for our vehicles in the future!
