I didn't know that you had to have a relatively new car to go to the Dealer(perhaps this is an unwritten rule) I went in for an oil change and a replacement of my ac filter. My car is an '89 Honda. I didn't know that this would precondition the type of service I received. I sat there for over 2 Hours(busy day, that's O.K.) and this allowed me to see what type of customer service was provided. All the service men were kind and helpful and explained to the car owner what additional service was needed in each case. When time came to pick up my car. I was handed my paperwork and told what my totals were and thank you very much. If I was interested in having further service it was outlined in the paperwork. If there is a policy of not servicing older vehicles then I would have preferred to be told up front. Instead I left with a bad feeling and discarded. Unfortunate and unnecessary.
