| - I really hate to give anyone a rating of just 1 star, but giving even one star, is a stretch. Before I get too negative, the people in this restaurant, were some of the nicest, anywhere in Phoenix. They were knowledgeable about what they were selling, and they were very, very friendly. First of all, this location, was pretty dirty. The table we had to sit at, was the cleanest that was available, but it had food, all over the place. The floors had food, napkins and garbage all over the place. Secondly, the prices for what we ordered, were a little outrageous. $20.00, for two of us to eat the smallest portion, that was available. Mine was so bad, I can't even remember what it was called, the number 13, I believe. The chicken was tough, and it had so much garlic in it, I'll smell like a garlic factory, for days. My wife got the Teryaki Chicken(normally, the safest one on the menu), but she said that the glaze was like something she'd pour down the drain. The one good food item, was the snickerdoodle cookie, I got. It was pretty good. Eating here, kinda reminded me of being a young Marine, stationed in Japan, in the early 70's. I got so homesick for some Italian food, I went into this local restaurant, in Iwakuni, and ordered some lasagna. Big, Big mistake. Back then, the Japanese, just couldn't make decent Italian food. And you know how Marine's are, we'll eat just about anything.
Well, I know food is like art. It's subjective. Either my taste buds are off, or something is very, very wrong. This place is always busy, but you know what they say, "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me". I won't be spending any more of my money, in this place. Sorry Chino Bandido. I know your sign says "Takee Outee", but the only thing I can think of to takee outee, is your food, to the garbagee.
