  • In all honesty, it had been over 5 years since our last visit to this Melting Pot. That was because that experience was very forgettable and not worth repeating. We decided to give the place another chance for a group dinner. We made a reservation on Open Table and arrived ahead of our seating time. We were then subsequently escorted to some non-descript, over sized banquet area that was oppressively hot. Everyone in our party was sweating immediately and several had diffculty breathing. We asked to be seated elsewhere, which was accommodated but by placing us next to the kitchen entrance. The only reason that I am offering this review two stars was the service provided to our group by Mike, our server. He was the only highlight of the evening. For a place where the average price per person borders on $50, they have no concept on how to treat their clientele. One thing is for sure, we will NEVER be going back.
