We've purchased furniture from Ashley before so of course when we bought a new home and needed new couches we went there to see what they had. We found leather couches, sat on them for the normal 5 mins that you do when you are couch shopping and after the sales rep talked us into the amazing customer service Ashley had to offer, the upgraded quality of these expensive couches, we decided to pull the trigger. The first week and a half of having them we actually couldn't move into our house, the builder had some repairs to make and it made sense to not stay there. The next week/week in a half we finally were able to use our new, amazing quality leather Ashley couches and boy were we disappointed. Looks wise they are in perfect shape, tags attached even (except I did ask in the store if the green tint was the lighting and was reassured they were only to find out in my lighting at my new house they do look green)...still because I'm so uncomfortable on these couches I'm praying to be able to return them. How am I to know sitting on a couch for 5 mins that it's going to be a fit for my family. You can sleep on a mattress for months and months and return it if not satisfied. I called the store to see what my options are only to be treated horribly. Whoever answered the phone was not helpful and also made it clear they weren't happy when asked to speak to a manager. The manager gave a similar tone of caring less. He said he'd call back and 3 weeks later I still can't get a hold of anyone. The customer service before you spend your money verses after is appalling! I have 3 bedrooms to eventually buy furniture for, an office, dining room table and I can say I will not be going to Ashley. Family is moving here and in need of many items and I'll be letting them know to not go there, clients are always moving in and needing furniture and I'll be sharing my experience with them as well.
I don't expect rules to be broken for me but being treated kindly and respectful would be been nice.
