  • I finally made it down to Night Market for the last event of the season with an old college buddy that was in town from Singapore. I was absolutely amazed! This thing was huge...packed with loads of people and vendors! I was really surprised how big of a crowd this event draws. Is this really happening in Cleveland??? If you come check out Night Market, you damn well better come hungry! The air was permeated with the delicious aroma of grilled meats, delicious curries, fried Chinese pastries, and a crap load more! Vendors were selling all sorts of freshly cooked food, both Asian and not, and every type of cute animal souvenir and Asian artwork imaginable! They even have live music playing, dancing, glow Sticks, beads, and more! A lot of the local Asiatown restaurants have tables set up selling tasty snacks and meals at very reasonable prices. You've got everything from Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese to Indian, Mexican, and good ole American Mitchell's Ice Cream! There were a good number of food trucks there as well. Come rock out to the live music and fill yer belly! I saw a few vendors accepted credit cards, but play it safe and bring cash. Whoever came up with the idea to start Night Market this year is a pure genius! If you haven't been before, you gotta come check it out next summer! I know I'll be back!
