  • I love taking staycations and decided to do one this year with a stay at Kimpton as a reward to myself. I got to check in a little early which was great because I was so eager to see my room and I had plans cancelled on me so I was basically waiting around until 3. Upon arrival I found a lovely note and gift from the hotel which was super awesome. I had a Spa King Room and loved having the stunning bathroom be the first thing you see when you walk in the door. The soaking tub was plenty big enough to have bubble baths in, although it was slightly hard to get out of when using bath oils haha. I like that the shampoo and such come in larger bottles with pumps so I don't have to squeeze every last bit of conditioner out of a tiny bottle for my long, thick hair. My bed was oh so comfy as well. The whole hotel has gorgeous decor and everyone I interacted with was upbeat and cheerful. I def want to come back! My only complaint is that I wish I saw more dogs - they are a very pet friendly hotel!
