  • The Bed and (not included) Breakfast was very cute, with a great location (I suspect breakfast was not included just because it was the off season). The bed was ornate and brass framed with an unfortunate sag in the middle so we sort of felt like we were sleeping in a squeaky bouncy hammock (I hear they also have rooms with four-posters which might be more comfortable). That said, the sheets, blankets and pillows were very nice. The room also included tea, coffee, a tiny TV and a view over a cute little courtyard (undoubtedly lovely in spring and summer). The en-suite bathroom had a nice bath with a shower but no curtain (we took baths for fear of soaking the whole room). It also had a bunch of candles and a big jar of bubble bath, so there was really no question that a bath was the right choice. The not-included breakfast was served at restaurant beside the courtyard and was only £5 per person so we were quite satisfied. Overall, this place was a great value for the price (£60/night) especially considering the central location. I would go back, but I think I'd request a four-poster.
