| - I recently separated from my husband and needed a temporary place to live. I chose a furnished condo because I did not want any added stress on top of beginning the process of a divorce. I found a furnished two-bedroom condo in Seven Hills; managed by 702 Housing.
Many things broke or didn't work when I moved in, but when I called 702 housing to report these things, they offered to fix everything wrong. Some of the stuff was things that should've been noticed and fixed prior to me moving in, such as broken blinds in the living room, broken washing machine knob, and blood on the mattress pad, but as soon as I brought it to their attention, the owner said he would ensure these types of things don't happen again.
The person I originally spoke with about these issues was not the kindest person in the world, but the owner took over communication and was very nice and tried to do whatever he could to fix any problems. Also, the person who came to actually fix everything broken was very nice.
I would just advice people that this is not like staying at a hotel where if something goes wrong, they can simple put you somewhere else. Things break and it can be a huge inconvenience, but 702 housing was willing to do what they could to fix any problems.
