  • I've been looking for somewhere in town to call my mani/pedi home for about a year. I think that I've finally found it here at Lush Nail Bar. (previously known as 'Pretty Nails'. The big sign outside still says that...but I suspect that it will be changed to match the new name very soon.) I called and asked if I could come in for a mani/pedi at 5. They asked if I had a technician in mind. I didn't care...and they said not a problem and to come in. So, I did. When I arrived, I waited perhaps two minutes while my technician, Sean put the finishing touches on setting up. As other reviewers have said....its nice inside. Very posh looking. Best of all, everything was properly sanitized, a fresh liner was put in the foot bath...the works. One of the things that I really appreciated about Sean was unlike techs at other salons that I've been to, he didn't even question the fact that I just wanted a standard mani pedi. He didn't try to up-sell me. And best of all he did not try to get me to do gels. I don't do gel polish, I don't do shellac and I don't do gel nails. It's not my thing. I picked my OPI color and away he went. Very neat and relaxing pedicure. He asked me with every step whether I wanted my nails cut down or shaped, filed or clipped just slightly. Not in a just out of Beauty School kind of way, but in a " I actually care about what you want" kind of way. I really liked that. The manicure went the same way and polish job was great. The price was extremely reasonable. I'm going to definitely come back and I look forward to my next visit.
