  • A few weeks ago I decided to get a facial here; I've been here before and they were ok, but not worth the expensive prices. I decided to go again because there aren't very many places around this area to get a facial and the ones I've been to don't have the quality of the Red Door Spa. I walked in and the woman was very professional and courteous, and even remembered speaking to me when I called in. The spa attendant was absolutely on top of her job and the spa area was beautiful and well kept. I went into the sitting area and was called to my facial before I even had a chance to sit down. I was brought to my room and loved the fact that the bed was heated (I completely forgot and it was SOOO comfortable)! That's when my facial started to go downhill. The aesthetician was not very polite, to say the least, and didn't ask if I've been having any skin problems or if I'm allergic to anything. I did appreciate the hand massage/moisturizer, which made my hands soft for the rest of the day, but was very disappointed with the rest of it. Any time I asked a question I received a very curt response. I was told I need to change my skin care products, even though she never ONCE asked what I currently use, some of which IS Elizabeth Arden. I also told her I felt like what she was using was causing me to start to get a pimple (I went into the facial zit free), so she used some electric current thing on my face and said absolutely, for sure, no doubt about it, I wouldn't get a zit. The very next day I had a zit exactly where I told her I was getting one. On top of that, I got three more zits in the next two days. Obviously my skin was not happy with their skin care products and I won't be going back there for a long time, if ever.
