This park has two main areas. There is a clean, well-maintained general recreational area with spacious lawns and picnic/dining pavilions, as well as an area with large grills and food prep tables. There is also the historic area which used to be the well-irrigated working farm that William Bartlett built in 1886. Many of the original structures are still there - the beautiful main house and guest house, the fruit packing shed, the dairy barn, and other buildings, all well-maintained and/or restored. These are surrounded by orchard and garden areas, and it is truly a pleasure to stroll around the grounds and appreciate this trip of a more than century back in Glendale's history.
