| - I had a hard time deciding between a 3 or 4 star rating for Inhale, mostly because the studio and teachers are lovely, but my own personal yoga preferences are different than the type of yoga offered here. The studio is very large, there are 3 changing rooms along with a nice bathroom that even has some extra hair pins and hair ties for you if you've forgotten yours. There are a few cute small home decor and jewelry items for sale as well. The studio space is very calming and full of light.
All of the teachers here have been lovely, they seem to all be very focused on correct alignment, which is good. I work downtown, and so I was mostly interested in the lunch hour classes. They are shorter than your typical yoga classes, and they start at 12:05 and end around 1, which is great if you work downtown. The room is not heated, so you won't need to shower afterwards, you can simply change your clothes and be off. My only problem with the lunch classes are sometimes I found the studio to be a bit on the chilly side. I prefer hot yoga, but of course I don't want to be a sweaty mess mid-way through my work day, but I feel like the heat could still be turned up a tad without much sweating. The only other downside I saw to these classes were they weren't quite as challenging as I had hoped, I don't think I'd be able to replace my normal vinyasa classes with them. Sometimes my only form of exercise is yoga, so I want to feel like I got a decent workout in at the end of class. They are great for getting some movement and blood flowing in the middle of the day though, I sit at a desk all day and it's nice to stretch.
The only other negative I saw were the class times. I know they are a newer studio, so they are probably still working things out, but I was surprised that they did not offer a class in the evening closer to 5 pm. I would be interested in a more intense class after work since I can go home and shower, however their evening classes start at 6:15. I would have to stay at work an extra hour or so in order to take this class, which isn't super appealing to me. If they offered a class closer to 5:15 or 5:30, it would be great.
I still think I will come and take advantage of the lunch hour class from time to time though because it's a nice break in my work day and it's good for days that I do not have time to fit a work out in. If you aren't looking for a hot yoga studio, this would be a great option!
