| - I agree with Brian, after speaking to one of the staff members I thought this would be a great place for my daughter to be able to move forward and on her way to a normal life. She tested sober for 2 weeks! Hooray!! but her mental issues came into play and instead of helping her like their literature tells you that they're going to do, they called the police on her and she was taken to an ER, because she didn't ask to be committed into a mental institution for evaluation, she was kicked out the door. Apparently she was too much for them to handle, so she was exited from the program.
Being the enabler mom that I am, I also paid for her boyfriend to be in a Bluecove male sober living facility. After being there for two days his mother's health took a turn for the worse and she was literally dying, so he chose to be by his dying mothers side and not return to the home each night. I felt that since he wasn't even there that I would be entitled to at least a partial refund but, no.
Blue Cove homes failed my daughter miserably. As far as her boyfriend goes, he didn't even use their services. Therefore I am seeking a full refund.
This Bluecove facility proves to be a business. All of these resources that they claim to have and that they will help you with if you need it, has not ever been offered in my daughters case. I had so much hope, what a disappointment.
No stars...
