I went to two other jewelry stores that were closed when they should have been open on a Saturday. I called Skystone Creations to make sure they were open, and 'Yes' they were. An older couple, Elka and Victor, own this business and they were so gracious when we arrived. I was interested in finding a turquoise ring; they had a large collection to choose from.
Elka was wonderful to steer me toward a beautiful ring, pendant and earring set. The price was modest which pleased me very much. She explained the different types of turquoise, where they sourced their stones and that they hire Native American artisans to create some of their one of a kind designs.
In addition to their wonderful jewelry, they had pottery created by Navaho, Zuni, Hopi and Acoma Pueblo. If you have a chance to stop in, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.
