  • CONS: The place is run very poorly - they need to hire a better office manager (if they have one now - can't tell if the receptionist is an office manager or another tech covering the front desk). - My sister-in-law brought her cat to Dr. Liz for a teeth extraction and cleaning but they needed to see the cat first before scheduling the actual procedure. She made the appointment but ended up waiting over an hour before getting to see Dr. Liz, which lasted less than 15 minutes. - My sister-in-law decided to give this hospital another try with her other cat's annual visit. She made the appointment and got a written confirmation the day before. When she got there a few minutes early, they told her that she doesn't have an appointment. She showed them the written confirmation and they told her that her appointment is not in the system. They treated her as a walk-in and she waited almost 2.5 hours - on top of that, they told her that Dr. Liz can't see her but if she can hand over her cat, they will take him back there to do an exam, give him back to her, and she can leave - she got her cat back in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law doesn't demand anything, so she ended up waiting 2.5 hours and didn't get to see the vet face-to-face and got charged the full visit cost. For me, annual visits is the best opportunity to ask all the questions I need to ask about my pets and directly hear from the doctor that my pets are healthy or if there are potential issues. PROS - Dr. Liz is great - very nice, caring, and personable. And prices there are very, very reasonable. - The teeth extraction and cleaning was at least $200 less than what Tremont charges and they don't charge by the tooth - an extraction is an extraction, it doesn't matter if it is 2 teeth or 5 teeth that needs to be removed. - I've noticed that Dr. Liz isn't too hard on the owners or too critical of the pets. She told my sister-in-law that her cat's physique is fine. My own vet would have straight up told me that he's overweight (not yet obese) and he needs to lose at least 5 pounds - she would discuss with me the amount of food and exercise that he needs and come up with a plan of action. But I prefer vets that are honest with me about my pet's health - even if it hurts my feelings. However, I do know there are pet owners that don't care for that type of talk. I would have recommended my vet to my sister-in-law but she lives too far away. If you can take the disorganization and poor service from the staff with a trade-off of a pretty good vet with good prices, then you'll be happy with this place.
