Saigon Kitchen - 5 Stars
Location: Bell and Litchfield in Surprise. Very close to home. Plenty of parking and easy access back onto Bell Road. I need to come here way more often.
Atmosphere: Upscale and trendy, but laid back. Looks and feels like a Vegas restaurant. The patio seating looked very comfortable and inviting, but we wanted to sit inside. The music was ambient/trance. Reminded me of the Downtown Cocktail Room in Vegas. But with better lighting.
Cleanliness: Very clean and well organized. Even the restroom was nice and tidy.
Service: Cathy was very attentive and made several excellent recommendations. She kept our water glasses and our wine glasses full.
Food/Drinks: Delicious! The Chicken Noodle Soup was outstanding. I can't wait to go back and order it again. We also got Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls, Chicken Skewers, and Surprise Jumbo Shrimp. The dipping sauces were awesome. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was pretty yummy.
Happy Hour: The Happy Hour food menu is from 3-6, but the Happy Hour for drinks runs from 11-6. Bargain! During Happy Hour you can get a bottle of wine and two apps for just $30. Totally worth it.
Price: Very reasonable. The large bowl of soup for $9 overfeeds two people. Good portions for the price.
