  • My wife and I decided to go to Hot Mama's based on a recommendation from a friend. While we enjoyed the meals, which we felt were good portions for the price despite other people's comments, we felt that the food was average. We had Pad Thai, Beef Spicy Basil and spring rolls. The spring rolls were very good, as was the Beef Spicy Basil. However, the Pad Thai noodles were overcooked and not as favourable as we had expected. We'll certainly try it one more time, but our favourite place in Durham is still iThai in Whitby.
