The offerings at Mr. Cards and Comics are varied - there are a variety of comics, cards, and board games. The shop floor is dominated by tables used to play card games (primarily Magic: the Gathering), while the merchandise lines the walls from floor to ceiling.
The staff is very polite and everyone in the store playing cards remains respectful of both other players and those shopping. The store has a decent collection of cards, but the offerings they provide for comics are very slim compared to other places.
While I expect comic books to be pricey, some of the board games offered are unjustifiably higher in price. Now some games that are more niche and difficult to find outside of specialty stores such as this, I can understand being pricey. However, there were a few games for sale you could find in most any store for half the price of what was offered here.
I would recommend this place for people more interested in cards than comics, though casual comic readers or people looking to get into comics could certainly benefit from a visit as well. What this store lacks in comic breadth, they make up for in a palpable sense of camaraderie among patrons.
