| - Not a great hotel, but not horrible either. It gets the job done but I probably will stay somewhere else next time. I mainly chose this place because the price was one of the lower ones in the area, although it wasn't as low as I thought after adding taxes and resort fee.
I booked a room through Booking.com because its rate was lower than what I was able to get by booking direct with the hotel. My card was immediately charged for the nights I was going to stay, and the remaining portion for resort fee was charged when I checked in at the hotel.
PARKING
Has valet and self park garage, which is free. I recommend entering the hotel from Spring Mountain Road (at Mel Torme Way) entrance rather than Las Vegas Blvd. Traffic is much lighter from Spring Mountain Road, and entrance to the self park garage is closer from this entrance. Please note, valet parking is much closer to the front lobby (for check-in/check-out). If you go with self parking, it's a bit of a distance to get to the front lobby. You have to take the enclosed bridge from the third level of the parking garage to the escalators (or elevator) which takes you to the casino level.
ROOM
Standard rooms are about 400 sq. ft. Our room was fairly clean except for some hair we found on the bathtub. As far as toiletries, hotel provided small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and shower gel. Hair dryer, ironing board, small fridge, and safe were in the closet.
OTHER AMENITIES (or items covered by resort fee)
WiFi (10 Mbps) internet access, daily access to fitness center, 2-for-1 cocktail, daily newspaper at Guest Services, local and toll free phone calls, printed airline boarding passes, copies and faxes (up to 10 pages), and $25 credit for future stay.
ENTERTAINMENT (on-site)
Mystere by Cirque du Soleil
Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.
RESTAURANTS (on-site)
Nothing worth mentioning, and they are all overpriced.
SERVICE
Was mixed. The guy at the check-in counter wasn't very friendly, but the guy at check-out was quite helpful. I noticed I was overcharged $4.53 when I was checking out of the hotel, and when I addressed it, he took care of it right away. Just a tip, you should always check your folio to make sure you are being charged what you were initially quoted. It turned out the hotel raised the resort fee by $2/per night since the time I initially booked the hotel, and they didn't catch it when I checked in. You have the option of doing express check out by using text message or TV in the room, but I still prefer checking out in person to catch any error(s).
