| - My favorite part of LV besides the shopping, is the Fremont Street Experience. If you want to be entertained for a few hours for free, come here after dark and take a stroll.
The overhead projector is super cool the first few times you come here, every top of the hour you get a free show and hear cool music.
There are a bunch of souvenir shops, food, casinos, tourist traps, and street entertainers to look at. There are also three stages for entertainment, but the one all the way in the back is the busy one. When there is a live band, you can watch and listen for free, but the best part is the homeless and drunk people who dance to the music.
The street entertainers dance or take pictures for tips. Some also make crafts for you to purchase. I love watching the spray painters who create Vegas murals with just spray paint and crumpled up newspapers and pieces of cardboard.
I always stop in at Binions to get my free $1million dollar photo then go to Fremont to play Wheel of Fortune. Main Street Hotel has an awesome sports bar inside for yummy food. The Cal has local food for visitors from Hawaii.
You can park at the Main Street hotel parking and if you gamble or dine in, you get your parking ticket validated.
Free wifi courtesy of the city within a one mile radius of Fremont Street Experience.
