  • I went for my first appointment the other day and, I think it's safe to say, it won't be my last! I had my appointment with one of the top stylists and she definitely knew what she was doing. I came in with crummy pictures of what I wanted and she was able to actually pull through with the style I requested. She was very respectable and professional throughout the entire session. What I appreciated the most was that she made sure to confirm with me before doing anything with my hair. I appreciated all her suggestions so I ended up saying "yes" every time. I've been to other big salons where the stylist just did what they pleased and ended up buzzing more than I originally proposed to them. Also, I found it interesting that the (probably) owner kept watching her and the other stylists very closely. I suppose this keeps them on their toes and he is making sure customers are having a good experience. I'm new to the area so I needed a salon I can feel comfortable going to and I think I've found it. Not only that, I'm already recommending my sister to give it a shot. So yes, I think salon de elephant is worth giving a shot - great service and good price.
