We have lived here about 6 months. Honestly, we chose the community due to the care that we received prior to moving to AZ. Everything seemed great up until the day before we were to move in. We asked id we couls drop off the moving truck the night before f out belongings were in a moving truck as I had to work and my husband would not be able to drive 2 vehicles and was the one meeting the movers. They flat out said NO and the moving truck would have to be moved off property as soon as the movers were done unloading. However we have seen numerous moving trucks and even pods that are left for days (sometimes close to a week at a time) since then. When we moved in the complex was less than 50% occupied. Now we are probably closer to 80% at least.
Maintenance requests are 'cancelled' instead of being taken care of but you may receive a call or email indicating it is being taken care of, trash from the many dog stations sometimes emptied once a week or less (again this is AZ where temps can be over 100 for several weeks in a row) but when you say something to office personnel they indicate it is taken care of daily. Other issues go unaddressed too. Their favorite comment is "that's interesting. No one else has said anything!!"
I have asked several times about renting a covered space and repeatedly am told "there are none available" and "you need to start parking in your garage". Have also been advised that we are not allowed to store items in our garage. That's funny. One of the leasing agents lives on property and uses her garage for storage. She also doesn't think her dog needs to be on a leash, but the other dogs are. I understand she works for the company, but she should be held to the same standards as the residents!! Not be given exceptions because she is an employee- this sets a VERY BAD EXAMPLE!!
You must request for your air filter to be changed. I thought it was being taken care of automatically on a maintenance schedule but was told many months later that you can request it or pick up filters and do it yourself.
