  • Went here for lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was standard pub fare and of average price. The bacon/avocado burger was dry, which was disappointing. I'd stick to using this place as a drinks only type of venue. ______ Update: I accepted a gift card from management to give this place another go. I went back with some friends because I wanted to try something else and to see if my previously experience was on point and if the buds agreed with me or not. The food: Deep fried shrimp: I couldn't tell I was eating shrimp. It wasn't very good. It tasted like hot sauce over deep friend something. Poutine: soggy waffle fries and lacked gravy. Slider: dry Basically, I stand by my previous review. It's a great place to grab some drinks after class or if you're in the hood, but the food is subpar, so I wouldn't order much beyond a few beers. The buds agree. Sorry Duke, but the kitchen needs a little revitalization.
