Casa Loma is a beautiful landmark and makes for an incredible venue for events.
The gardens in the back are a beautiful setting for any event.
This year Liberty Entertainment took over the venue and seem to be doing a great job breathing new life into the castle.
For example, this summer I had a chance to get a season pass to hear the Toronto Concert Orchestra play every Wednesday in the gardens. Just fantastic.
I also heard about the season half way through the summer and luckily got the season pass for all of $25. This could be the best deal in the city and not the kind of thing you associate with a first class performance in a castle garden.
Finally, while it was a bit overpriced I ordered the lobster poutine. It was the kind of thing I needed to try once. It was tasty, but isn't something I will ever feel I need to order again.
