  • Ok, first off this is a good place... Don't get me wrong. Definitely go here. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of a few things: 1) no squirt bottles. They do not have squirt bottles to correct the dog that's are either being a jerk, fighting, or super annoying. After mentioning this to the bartender she replied, "I'm glad we don't have them, I don't want anyone spraying my dog".... Well it's water and they can get over it, and no one will spray them if they aren't being a jerk. Just seemed like they made excuses, because lucky dog in Cornelius has spray bottles. Spray bottles are AMAZING at breaking up fights between dogs, and yeah the bartender said "we don't let jerk dogs in here".... But dogs fight all the time and without notice and you don't know what dog is an Ahole until it's already fighting it biting something. So now the only way to break up a dog fight is with your bare hands...spray bottles work, swallow your pride, show common sense and get some. Or else someone or some dog is going to get seriously hurt because your not prepared. 2) people don't watch their dogs because the place is so massive, which leaves dog poop and pee EVERYWHERE. I witnessed 4 dogs take huge dumps and no one claimed them or cleaned them up....And after speaking with the bartenders, they informed me that they don't clean it up! Lol, ok then. That's what happens when you hire club bartenders instead of someone who isn't afraid of getting dirty and making it clean. 3) I know smoking isn't looked at in a positive light, and rightfully so..... But cmon guys!!!! The only ash tray you have is at the back corner of the outside patio where the dogs ALL TAKE POOPS. I felt segregated, shamed, and it was just not something I want to go back and enjoy a beer to. Smoking is bad, I get it.... But don't put me in the back poop corner. And btw the ash tray is GLUED to the top of the trash can that multiple people put their poop bags in. Just buy some damn $1 ash trays and tell other people to suck it up when someone smokes. We do live in tobacco country. All in all, it's a cool place for the $15 beer and a bath, try it out.... Just keep an eye on your dog and be respectful. I just hope they read this and take these issues into consideration.
